With the signature polar wedge, the polar alignment is easy. Just point the laser at Polaris and you are done polar aligning. No need to look at sight tube or polar scope.
You need to buy also a ball head and tripod in order to use it.

Vím, že je zpětná vazba důležitá v každém obchodě. Měsíční dodací doba byla dodržena, něco v té haldě součástek chybělo, něco přebývalo, čemuž se vůbec nedivím, dát do kupy takovou objednávku není legrace. Ondrovi nicméně fandím, sám jsem se kdysi o podobný projekt pokoušel, ale narozdíl od táty, který to dokázal vč. Hvězdárny a vlastnoručně vybroušeného zrcadla 44mm jsem to nedotáhl. Takže Salute, vychytat mušky a jen tak dál!!

Really wish I could leave an honet review of the product. But as of today, October 13th, I have still not received my package that was ordered August 17th and shipped September 13th. Once it gets here ill change my review, but just be warned if you order anything it will take quite some time to arrive.

Kit arrived in perfect condition, very well packaged, Ondra (creator) was replying quickly and on professional level. I printed the other parts myself and everything from this kit fitted well. Custom PCB was preloaded with the latest firmware. No problems :)

The OG star tracker works and works well. I purchased the hardware kit including the pcb and printed the remaining parts. All the necessary hardware and electronic parts were included in the kit. The design is robust and the mount is solid. The belt/pully configurations went together easier than I thought. All the printed parts fit very well. They were printed mostly in PLA and a few parts in PETG on a Creality K1 printer. This was the first time I used threaded inserts and they installed easily without a press. The app connects via a webpage to my iPhone consistently and provides basic controls. The tracking is good using a Panasonic FZ80 @ 400mm zoom. Overall, for me the OG star tracker is a good product and was a very enjoyable project to build.
